Ioana Baltan es una artista rumana premiada con sede en el Reino Unido cuyas pinturas se han exhibido en Egipto, Italia, Inglaterra y Rumania. Ella describe su principal preocupación artística como ilustrar la extraña relación entre la mente frágil de una persona y su entorno. Baltan también explora temas secundarios como la alucinación, la locura, los sueños y la distorsión de la realidad. Sus composiciones invitan al espectador a un mundo caótico de contrastes, inspirado en la filosofía de Nietzsche y la música de Mahler.
