Ivan Korshunov es un artista ruso galardonado cuyas pinturas se han exhibido a nivel nacional, así como en los Países Bajos, Bélgica, Letonia y China. Le fascina el concepto de que el arte es una combinación compleja de realidad objetiva y percepción subjetiva. Las pinturas hiperrealistas de Korshunov exploran esta concepción superponiendo anacrónicamente imágenes reconocibles de la historia, la religión y la cultura popular contemporánea. Crea utilizando las técnicas tradicionales de los Antiguos Maestros, empleando principalmente óleos sobre lienzo.
