James Hawkins reside en las pintorescas Highlands escocesas y se describe a sí mismo como un romántico del siglo XXI. Él cree que la exposición a lo sublime eleva el espíritu humano y nos reconecta con el mundo viviente, por lo que Hawkins pasa la mayor cantidad de tiempo al aire libre posible.
