Michael Velliquette es un dibujante y escultor estadounidense cuyas obras se han exhibido a nivel nacional, así como en Noruega, Japón y Corea del Sur. Sus esculturas de papel intrincadamente construidas "abren una vista a mundos imaginados". Velliquette describe su arte como una redefinición de la naturaleza del papel mediante la creación de objetos que transmiten "fuerza, intención y durabilidad". Sus abstracciones estructurales se cortan y ensamblan a mano, y cada pieza tarda hasta quinientas horas en completarse.
