« Mis trabajos no son sobre la tematización de la realidad, sino más bien sobre la tematización específica de la interpretación de la realidad. »
Pawel Mendrek es un artista visual que trabaja y vive en Viena. Sus trabajos incluyen diversas técnicas como pintura, dibujo, fotografía y collages. Además de su trabajo como pintor independiente, es profesor en la Facultad de Intermedia y Diseño de Escenarios en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Katowice y fue profesor invitado Erasmus en el Chelsea College of Arts de Londres.
