Acerca de la obra
In this work, I wanted to capture the beauty and impact of the passage of time on an everyday object. The antique scissors, placed at the center of the composition, represent not only a tool of cutting and transformation but also a symbol of aging and history.
The scissors, with their patina and visible signs of oxidation, are a metaphor for the passage of time. Each mark and wear on their surface tells a story of use, moments, and the life that… has passed. This transformation of metal by time speaks not only of deterioration but also of the beauty that emerges through the years.
Through this piece, I seek to have the viewer contemplate the duality of the ephemeral and the permanent. I want the way time leaves its mark, transforming the everyday into something worthy of admiration and reflection, to be appreciated. It is an invitation to see beyond functionality and to value the aesthetic of the history that each object carries within.
