Claire Zakiewicz is een ervaren Britse interdisciplinaire kunstenaar die haar werk internationaal heeft tentoongesteld, waaronder Italië, het VK en de VS. Haar praktijk onderzoekt voornamelijk de fysieke en metaforische relaties tussen geluid en tekenen, een gelijktijdig wetenschappelijk en filosofisch proces van 'denken door maken'. Ze componeert werken die gemeenschappelijke patronen verstoren en ideeën over schoonheid en perfectie uitdagen, waarbij ze een opzettelijk gebrek aan controle gebruikt om een effect te bereiken dat des te meer verenigd en evenwichtig lijkt. Zakiewicz's olie-, aquarel- en inktwerken op Singulart verkennen ideeën over balans, symmetrie en rondheid.
