The Polish artist Anna Masiul-Gozdecka graduated from Warsaw Academy of Arts in 2000. Her admiration for beauty and the will to share beauty inspired her at the beginning of her career. She started to express herself in poetry but words were not enough, so she started painting.
Enjoying the world
For Anna Masiul-Gozdecka, art is a way to celebrate the world and the beauty in it. A common theme in her paintings are her dreams; she shows parallel, colorful worlds where everything is possible. A major part of Anna Masiul-Gozdecka's expression is due to her powerful use of color.
Anna Masiul-Gozdecka constantly explores differents styles in her painting; she can paint in a figurative style as well as in an abstract way. Both styles are complementary to each other and allow the artist to explore new horizons. She prefers oil for figurative paintings because it expresses her energy and creates a contrast. For her abstract paintings, she uses acrylic because of its unlimited possibilities and quick-drying application.
The artistic work of Anna Masiul-Gozdecka has featured in several solo and group shows. She exhibited in the Gallery Elektor, Warsaw, in the Triennale “Animalis" Galeria MM and at the Galeria Amaristo in the group exhibition “Jasinski&Friends” in Warsaw.
