Michael Stiegler est un peintre, photographe et dessinateur basé en Australie dont les œuvres ont été exposées à l'échelle nationale et aux États-Unis. Inspiré par la vie à New York et les personnages uniques qu'il observe au quotidien, il s'inspire également des magazines de mode haut de gamme, mais pas pour les raisons auxquelles on pourrait s'attendre. Stiegler se demande si les personnes scintillantes et esthétiques présentées dans les médias sont vraiment heureuses et si ses compositions de collage reflètent les monstres qui peuvent se trouver à l'intérieur.
