Olga Akimtseva est une artiste botanique originaire de Moscou, aujourd'hui installée en Serbie. Après une brillante carrière de 25 ans dans la finance, elle s'est pleinement consacrée à la peinture botanique en 2021. Diplômée avec distinction de la Society of Botanical Artists (Royaume-Uni), elle est membre de la SBA (Royaume-Uni), de l'ASBA (États-Unis) et de la SABA (Russie). Olga travaille à l'aquarelle multicouche, se concentrant sur les fleurs et leur transformation naturelle. Son objectif est de capturer la beauté éphémère des plantes avec une précision scientifique et une profondeur émotionnelle. Ses œuvres ont été exposées dans le monde entier, notamment au Royaume-Uni, en Thaïlande, à Taïwan, en Serbie et en Russie. En 2024, elle a reçu le prix « Exhibiting Excellence in Watercolor » à l'exposition SBA Plantae. Son travail sera également présenté à SBA Plantae 2025 aux Mall Galleries de Londres.
