Penny Warden a largement exposé ses peintures au Royaume-Uni, aux Pays-Bas, en France et aux États-Unis. Peintre figurative, son style artistique est influencé par la peinture d'action et l'abstraction gestuelle. La série de Warden dépeint des danseurs, des chevaux ainsi que des thèmes chrétiens en mouvement. Elle commence par peindre chaque fond sur toile, puis dessine la figure avant d'appliquer des huiles avec le plus grand degré de spontanéité.
