About the Instinct collection:
The “Instinct” collection was born in 2023, during a period when Textured faced an artistic block. Newly settled into his studio, he decided to break free from his structured, engineer-influenced approach and let his intuition take over. The first piece, “Ninja,” marked the beginning of this new creative chapter.
Each artwork features a bold, solid… background where acrylic paint is sculpted wet-on-wet with expressive knife and spatula movements, later enriched with stenciled patterns. The process is raw, spontaneous, and instinctive — focused on energy rather than perfection.
What may seem simple hides a powerful creative flow. For Textured, this intuitive practice has become both a source of joy and a defining element of his artistic identity. Even in 2025, “Instinct” remains a cornerstone of his evolving work.
