아나 마르코비치는 세르비아 출신의 수상 경력이 있는 화가로, 국내외에서 작품을 전시한 적이 있습니다.
최근 몇 년 동안 그녀의 작업은 불타는 풍경, 평범한 풍경, 혹은 식물 풍경 등 자연을 중심으로 진행되어 왔습니다. 아나는 자연이 우리를 치유하고, 되살리는 힘을 지녔으며, 바쁜 일상에 절실히 필요한 평온함을 가져다주기 때문에 자연에 초점을 맞춰야 한다고 믿습니다. 또한 지구 온난화가 심화됨에 따라, 자연은 우리가 잃어버릴 위기에 처한 모든 아름다움을 조명하는 뜨거운 화두가 되고 있습니다. 바로 이러한 이유로 자연은 모든 이야기의 주인공입니다.
그녀는 수채화부터 유화까지 다양한 매체를 사용합니다. 특히 최근 작품들은 캔버스에 혼합 재료를 사용한 것이 특징이며, 유화가 주를 이룹니다. 초기 작품들은 아크릴 물감과 목탄 드로잉의 섬세한 조화를 보여주지만, 이후 유화가 이 모든 것을 하나로 묶어 투명함과 깊이감을 부여합니다.
