제 이름은 앤이고, 저는 리옹 남부의 생제니 라발에 살고 있습니다.
최근 국립 교육 시스템에서 은퇴하고, 유치원과 초등학교 1학년에서 잠시 근무한 후 중학교에서 시각 예술을 가르치고 있습니다. 제 직업 덕분에 다양한 배경의 젊은이들에게 다가가 다양한 문화와 예술적 유산에 관심을 갖고, 예술적 실천에 의문을 제기하고 실험해 볼 수 있었습니다. 시각 예술 시험(agrégation)에 합격하려고 했을 때, 선생님들은 "그림은 구식이야. 영상물을 만들어야 해!"라고 말씀하셨습니다. 저는 설치 미술과 사운드비주얼 아트에 집중했습니다. 그러다 2014년 비아르호나(Viarhona)를 따라 자전거를 타다가 몰리 사바타(Molly Sabata) 아티스트 레지던시를 발견했습니다. 놀랍게도 그림으로 생계를 유지하는 젊은 화가들이었죠. 그곳에서 주말 인턴십을 여러 번 했는데, 매번 더 풍요로웠습니다. 화가로서 제 열정을 다시 불태워준 것은 바로 이 경험이었습니다.
