About this artwork
팬데믹 이후 오랜 고립 기간을 거쳐 자연과 문명의 화해를 위해 우리에게 어떤 변화를 주어야 하는지, 개인은 어떤 삶을 살아야 하는지에 대해 깊이 고민했습니다. 나는 하늘과 땅과 사람의 화합의 역사 이론을 믿습니다. 그리고 세상의 모든 것은 끊임없는 변화 속에서 만남과 이별을 반복하며 새로운 삶과 기회를 만들어 낸다고 믿습니다. 경제성장이라는 미명 아래 이 땅이 무분별하게 개발되고 있는 것과 만인에 대한 투쟁으로 이어지는 치열한 경쟁에 대해 깊은 우려를 표합니다. 일상 속에서 정신적인 삶을 소중히 여기며, 방해받지 않는 침묵 속에서 이성과 사랑으로 지역사회에 공헌하는 삶을 살고 싶습니다. 동양의 고전 "변화의 서"에서 영감을 받은 이 작품은 아크릴 물감과 염색된 종이 끈으로 만들어졌습니다. 이 작품은 위와 아래의 구분이 없고, 액자가 있건 없건 상관이 없습니다.
