저는 다리오 롱고입니다. 색깔은 무서워하지만, 색깔을 쓸 때는 형광색을 씁니다. 작업실을 깔끔하게 유지할 수 없어서 텅 빈 방을 꿈꿉니다. 물건으로 공간을 채우고 싶지만, 말로 채우고 싶지는 않습니다. 제 예술은 물건으로 가득 찬 커다란 선반입니다. 저는 물건에 새로운 생명을 불어넣는다는 생각은 해본 적이 없습니다. 항상 물건과 함께 살고, 집으로 가져와서 바라보는 것을 생각했습니다. 예술이 아니었던 것들의 작은 디테일에서 아름다움을 찾을 수 있습니다. 사실, 제 이야기는 오래전 푸스볼 선수를 발견했을 때 시작됩니다. 푸스볼 선수는 제게 가장 소중한 물건입니다. 그 이후로 저는 삶에서 다른 많은 물건들을 발견했습니다.
