저는 회화를 재현이 아니라 내면의 움직임을 위한 공간으로 이해합니다. 포착할 수 없는 것이 드러나는 곳이라고 생각합니다.
저는 미리 정해진 개념에서 출발하는 것이 아니라, 작업 과정에서 유기적으로 발전하는 연작 작업을 합니다. 재료는 중심적인 역할을 하는데, 아크릴, 질감, 금박, 백금, 그리고 혼합 재료들은 단순히 장식적인 요소가 아니라 의미를 전달하는 매개체입니다.
은폐는 후퇴가 아닙니다. 그것은 의도적인 행위입니다. 은폐는 거리를 만들고, 보호막을 형성하며, 새로운 관점을 제시합니다.
얼굴과 몸은 식별을 위한 표면이 아니라 투영의 공간으로 나타난다. 나는 정체성을 상태가 아니라 가시성과 철수 사이의 긴장으로 특징지어지는 과정으로 이해한다.
