작가의 진술
제 작업의 본질은 세속적인 주제를 드러내지 않으면서도 그 자체로 생명력과 존재감을 지닌 모티프를 찾는 데 있습니다. 이는 공간, 형태, 깊이, 그리고 그 안의 고요한 움직임을 느끼기 시작할 때 더욱 분명해집니다. 시간이 지남에 따라 그림의 표면에는 더 많은 층위, 차원, 그리고 미묘한 변화가 나타납니다.
제가 창작할 때, 저는 무엇보다도 먼저 제 자신에게 매료되기 위해, 그리고 항상 예술이라는 형식 자체를 초월하는 무언가를 향해 나아갑니다. 제 그림은 제 예술적 증거이자, 시작도 끝도 없는 시각적 서사입니다. 그림을 그리면서 저는 모티프와 대화를 나누며 내면의 생동감, 덧없는 환상, 부드럽고 환영적인 울림을 지닌 감정을 포착하고자 합니다. 이 울림을 듣고 내면의 움직임을 느낄 때, 저는 그림이 살아 숨 쉬는 것을 느낍니다. 그때서야 그림의 제목이 제게 드러나고, 모든 해석은 보는 이에게 맡깁니다.
