저는 판화, 회화, 콜라주를 통해 형태, 기억, 그리고 신체를 탐구합니다.
저는 브라질 출신 작가로 현재 코펜하겐에 거주하고 있으며, 브라질, 스톡홀름, 파리, 런던에서의 경험이 제게 큰 영향을 미쳤습니다. 여러 장소를 오가며 살아온 경험은 제가 이미지를 보고, 수집하고, 구성하는 방식에 끊임없이 영감을 줍니다. 저는 행위, 자르기, 겹치기, 누르기, 조립하기 등의 과정을 통해 작업하며, 형태를 완전히 이해하기 전에 먼저 그 형태가 드러나도록 합니다. 작업은 이름 붙여지기 전에 행위 자체에서 시작됩니다. 저는 작업 후 기억, 신체, 남는 것과 붙잡히기를 거부하는 것에 대한 질문을 던지며 작업을 계속합니다. 파편들은 반복되고, 변형되고, 재구성되면서 풍경과 인물 사이를 넘나드는 구조를 형성합니다. 제 작업은 본능과 성찰, 구성과 붕괴 사이의 이러한 긴장감 속에 존재합니다. 제 작업은 해답을 찾는 것이 아니라, 변화하는 과정 속에 머무릅니다.
