랄프 알트리트(1966년 하일브론 출생)는 독일 출신의 화가이자 음악가로, 2006년부터 프랑스에 거주하고 있다. 그는 30년 이상 회화, 드로잉, 판화, 사진, 그리고 현대 음악을 아우르는 다채로운 예술 활동을 펼쳐왔다.
그는 아주 어린 시절부터 시각 예술에 매료되어 14세 때 화가 게오르크 샤이블에게 개인 교습을 받았고, 1987년 뉘르팅겐 미술 아카데미에 입학했습니다. 그와 동시에 20세부터 색소폰과 재즈를 연주했습니다.
그는 또한 음반 레이블인 메타 레코드의 공동 설립자이며, 많은 음악가들과 협업해 왔고, 종종 음악을 자신의 시각 예술 작품에 영감의 원천으로 활용하기도 합니다.
그의 작품은 종종 몸짓 표현, 신표현주의, 서정적 추상의 교차점에 있다고 묘사되며, 그의 작품에서 선과 색은 움직임과 직관적인 스토리텔링을 탐구하는 글쓰기와 같습니다.
