밀라노에서 태어난 로베르타 볼페는 연극과 순수 예술을 넘나드는 예술가, 디자이너이자 교육자입니다. 그녀는 브레라 미술 아카데미에서 무대 디자인을, 베로나 오페라 아카데미에서 무대 및 의상 디자인을 전공했으며, 이후 라 스칼라 극장에서 실무 경험을 쌓았습니다. 석사 과정 중에는 브라질 아마조나스 극장에서 푸치니의 오페라 <수녀 안젤리카>로 국제 무대에 데뷔했습니다.
2013년 런던으로 이주한 후, 그녀는 로열 오페라 하우스에서 무대 미술가로 활동하며 <오페라의 유령>, <레미제라블>, <맘마미아!> 등 주요 작품 제작에 참여했습니다. 2018년에는 그녀의 디자인 작품이 EVCOM 이벤트 디자인 어워드를 수상하며 그 공로를 인정받았습니다.
볼페는 2019년 스튜디오를 연 이후 연극적인 감성과 표현력, 질감, 인상주의적 요소를 결합한 독특한 시각적 언어를 발전시켜 왔습니다. 현재 두바이에 거주하며 공간, 빛, 감정 사이의 대화를 탐구하는 창작 활동과 교육 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.
