그래픽 디자이너로 훈련을 받은 후 추상 회화로 전향한 그는 20년 넘게 프리랜서 일러스트레이터로 활동하며 회화와 예술적 실험 정신을 결합해 왔습니다. 자신의 뿌리와 현재 사이의 긴장감 속에서 그는 추상 미술의 역동성과 복잡성을 발견했고, 그 에너지는 마치 고요한 사유의 힘처럼 그의 작품에 스며듭니다. 이러한 상호작용은 그의 작품 세계를 계속해서 형성해 나가고 있습니다. 자연과 일상, 움직임과 정지, 밀도와 공허함이 서로 대비되면서도 그의 작품 구성 속에서 섬세한 균형을 이룹니다. 그의 작품은 색면 회화와 실험적인 표현 사이를 넘나듭니다. 다양한 재료를 의식적으로 선택함으로써 그는 덧없음과 거의 눈에 띄지 않는 것들의 느낌을 강화합니다. 고대비의 색면, 겹겹이 쌓인 층, 질감의 조합은 색, 형태, 구조가 시적인 조화를 이루는 다층적인 회화 공간을 만들어냅니다.
