아나스타시아 보로디나는 영국을 기반으로 활동하는 현대 구상화가로, 심리적 깊이, 문화적 상징성, 그리고 내면과 외면 세계 사이의 미묘한 경계를 탐구하는 도상학적으로 구조화된 작품으로 잘 알려져 있습니다. 그녀의 그림은 현대 사회 속에서 전통적인 유럽 상징들이 어떻게 변형되는지를 탐구하며, 의미, 정체성, 그리고 정서적 기반을 향한 인간의 탐색에 초점을 맞춥니다. 그녀의 작품에서 어린 시절은 자아 정체성과 인식의 패턴이 형성되는 중요한 시기로서 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
보로디나는 일리야 레핀 상트페테르부르크 국립 미술 아카데미(2012~2019)에서 유리 칼류타의 스튜디오에서 학업을 이어갔으며, 이후 권위 있는 왕립 아카데미 여름 전시회(2023)와 알메나라 미술상 전시회(2025)를 비롯한 국제적인 전시회에 참여했습니다. 2025년에는 미국 초상화 협회에서 우수상을 수상했습니다.
