니콜라 사비치는 1973년 세르비아 베오그라드에서 태어났습니다. 1999년 센트럴 세인트 마틴스 예술대학에서 순수미술 석사 학위를 취득한 후 런던에서 거주하며 활동하고 있습니다. 그는 신형식주의적인 방식으로 색채와 형태를 탐구하는데, 그의 작품 대부분은 매우 평면적인 색채를 사용하지만, 날카로운 모서리와 재구성된 기계적인 형태가 강하게 강조됩니다. 이는 일상의 속도와 곧이곧대로 요구되는 사회 속에서 사각형과 단색 요소들이 생체 형태를 띠는 새로운 추상적 질서를 만들어내는 것입니다. 니콜라 사비치의 작품은 도쿄의 다카시게 시미즈, 베오그라드 현대미술관, 런던의 유러피언 다이아몬즈, 런던의 뱅크 오브 아메리카 메릴린치, 런던의 롤로 컨템포러리, 살롱 베르, 런던의 크리스티안 룩, 베오그라드의 즈보노 갤러리, 주베오그라드 미국 대사관, 베오그라드의 라딕스 컬렉션 등 유럽, 극동, 미국의 여러 개인 소장가들의 컬렉션에 포함되어 있습니다.
