I kept being pulled toward work that hits you somewhere before your brain catches up — where you notice the color or the texture or some gestural mark, and something in you responds before you've had time to think about why.There's a quietness to some of it, and a rawness to other pieces. But underneath, they share the same sensitivity. Florals, abstract forms, the occasional figure drifting through — none of it pinned down, all of it trying to say something that resists words.I didn't want to tidy it up too much. Some things are better left a little open. My hope is that the works do the talking — that you feel your way through rather than read your way through. Whatever you find in them is probably exactly what you were meant to find.
