A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - This collection studies the small ceremonies around bread. The crack of a crust. The softness of pastry. The way a table turns into a stage for morning decisions. Coffee, wine, cherries, cream, sugar, and butter appear as symbols of comfort and appetite, but also as design elements: curves, folds, glaze, steam, and shadow. Across these works, food becomes portraiture. A croissant holds the same attention as a face. A bakery counter reads like a city scene. Hands, birds, shelves, plates, and crumbs connect the images into one mood board: warm, intimate, slightly indulgent, and human. The palette shifts from café gold to deep cocoa, from stone wall still life to Paris-window brightness, but the rhythm stays the same. Slow. Tactile. Satisfying.
