A curation by Chaltiel attali, Founder at Attaly - What we see is only the surface of things. Beneath the Surface offers a journey into the depths: those of matter, color, and perception. The artists work on dense textures, successive layers, and layered transparencies. The surface becomes an excavation site where buried fragments are revealed. This exhibition questions the relationship between the visible and the invisible. What surfaces here is not the image, but the memory of the gesture, the trace of time. Painting becomes an act of excavation: we search, we discover, we allow it to appear.
