Here, abstract, surreal, symbolic, and conceptual works reflect on the relationship between emotion and meaning. An abstract expressionist piece that states “Le Ciel” immediately makes us imagine the sky without even seeing it. A sculpture of a dark, human-like figure in an unusual pose titled “I’m Stupid” depicts a specific emotion through art. A ready-made sculpture with gloves titled “Hands Off” expresses an idea beyond what we see. This series presents the inner worlds of the artists and showcases their unique perspectives on life.
