A curation by Raffaella Nobili, Owner and curator at Paraventi Giapponesi - This collection brings together works that fit into the tradition of the representation of the ideal Renaissance city: timeless visual constructions, which contain a high degree of abstraction determined not only by the transformation of lines in an almost expressionistic-geometric sense, but also by the use of strong, contrasting colors.
These imaginary architectures do not describe real places, but outline an abstract urbanism, a possible home for the contemporary city and its contradictions: maps without legends, paths suspended between equilibrium and disquiet.
