A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - A dreamy journey into the style and spirit of Ancient Egypt. In that world, colors and images were deeply symbolic: gold embodied power and adorned sarcophagi, green stood for rebirth and eternity, and blue evoked the Nile. Ra, Egypt’s sun god and creator, was often depicted with a golden solar disc above his head. In this collection, floating spheres, shimmering abstractions, a sphinx cat, hieroglyphic-like patterns, a pharaoh, and sandy dunes take us back to the visuals of this mythical era. Though these artworks were not designed to replicate history, they offer a contemporary outlook full of creativity that inspires me to envision this civilization.
