A curation by Sophia Stefanowski, Owner / Curator at Sophia Stef Gallery - "Earth's Tones, Textures, and Layers" is a curated exploration of the natural world's visual and tactile language- a celebration of the colors, surfaces, and strata that shape our physical and emotional landscapes. This exhibition brings together artists whose work, to me, draws inspiration from the raw elements of the earth: the deep ochres of clay, the subtle gradients of sediment, the patterns of bark, stone, snowflakes, soil, and water. Through a range of perspectives, these works reflect the quiet power of organic matter and the layered complexity of both land and life.
