A curation by Rose Boutboul, Independent Curator at - A symbol among symbols, the Eiffel Tower is reborn here nineteen times. Photography, watercolor, oil, ink, engraving — so many materials, perspectives and gestures to try to exhaust the inexhaustible. Each work moves away from the cliché to rediscover an emotion: the shadow cut on the sky, a fragmented silhouette, a distant or almost abstract presence. A familiar icon, the Tower becomes a pretext for painting vertigo, light, and time. From one medium to another, it fades away and reappears — no longer a monument, but a collective memory, a moving trace of what Paris still inspires.
