Hands: Gesture, Touch, Choreography - curated by Vlad Merariu

A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - This collection places the hand at center stage - the smallest stage of the body, and its most eloquent instrument. Across oil, acrylic, resin-on-metal, collage and photographic works, hands script movement: reach and refrain, grasp and release, count and cue. Sequences unfold like choreography - fingers arcing through air, palms pivoting weight, wrists drawing invisible lines. Some images echo canon and ritual (mudra, blessing, offering); others reframe iconic touches as contemporary signs. Texture carries meaning - from skin and pigment to typographic relief - while water, shadow, and color fields become partners. Here, gesture is language and touch is rhythm: the hand composes space, and motion becomes visible thought.
