A curation by Carla Gerbino, Independent Curator at - Memory, by its very nature, eludes any attempt to capture it: at times it may be barely perceptible, at other times it imposes itself with the force of an invasive presence. Memory returns fragments of emotions and moments imprinted in the mind, transforming them into an element that simultaneously preserves and deforms. The selection of works presented here grapples with this ambivalence, translating memory into images that are never simple restitutions, but personal interpretations, capable of revealing the intertwining of experience and imagination.
