A curation by Ainhoa Fernández, Art gallerist and curator at AF - Gold Coast–based artist Kathleen Rhee creates large-scale abstract paintings that bring the outdoors indoors. Inspired by the Australian landscape, her works radiate calm through gentle pinks, deep blues, and turquoise greens, evoking peace and connection with nature. Guided by a daily need to paint, Rhee transforms impressions and emotions into atmospheric compositions defined by depth, subtle detail, and mesmerizing color. Trained in Brisbane, Canberra, and New York, she has exhibited internationally, with her works held in private and public collections across 15 countries.
