A curation by FS Karachiwala, Independent Curator at - Patterns of Life brings together artworks that trace the rhythms through which our lives take shape; the repetitions, ruptures, habits, accidents and rituals that quietly structure our days. Patterns exist around and within us: in urban grids and domestic spaces, in landscapes and migrations, in emotional cycles, relationships, memories and the ways we return to certain thoughts again and again.
Reflecting on how patterns reveal meaning. Some works map visual systems; geometry, motifs, ornament, abstraction. Others attend to human experiences: generational echoes, cultural inheritances, social constraints and personal transformations. At times, patterns are comforting, holding us with familiarity and routine; at other moments they are restrictive, asking to be questioned, broken or reimagined.
Together, these works suggest that our lives are not linear stories but living designs; constantly forming, unforming and forming again.
