Since 1950, artists have moved beyond literal depiction to explore the stars as conceptual and immersive spaces. Yayoi Kusama’s "Infinity Mirrored Room – The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away" (2013) uses light to simulate a boundless galaxy, inviting viewers into a meditative stardust experience. Anselm Kiefer often incorporates constellations into his heavy, textured works, such as "The Seven Heavenly Palaces" (2004), linking ancient myth to modern history.
