A curation by Oscar Segrelles, at Artsegrelles - Landscape has been one of the most recurring themes throughout the history of art, but today many critics consider it outdated and almost taboo. The selection for this exhibition reflects the vitality of contemporary landscape painting. I have chosen the artists for their pictorial quality, their use of color, their composition, their technical skill, and—above all—their ability to create unique atmospheres that transform a vision into an experience. In a context saturated with amateurish proposals trying to pass themselves off as serious works, it's important to remember that a good painting depends on multiple factors: intention, perspective, structure, and coherence. Rediscovering Landscape thus reclaims a genre that remains fully alive and capable of generating new ways of seeing and thinking.
