Digital photography coldly captures the reality of hospital infrastructure, while acrylic and oil paint lend an almost organic quality to depictions of medications. Hybrid techniques on synthetic panels or cardboard allow for a play with transparencies and textures, evoking the complex structure of cells or the chemical sheen of treatments.
