A curation by Zoe MN, Independent Curator at - The Parti pris des petites Choses offers a sensitive exploration of everyday life, an invitation to take a fresh look at those fragments of life that, through repetition, become invisible. This selection of works focuses on discreet details, trivial gestures, silent objects, fleeting moments, everything we no longer see, everything that is lost in the mechanical rhythm of the days.
In our world saturated with speed and spectacular images, The Little Things slows down and brings us back to the essential. It opens a space for contemplation where beauty nestles in the shadow of a forgotten cup, poetry in an afternoon light, magic in a curtain that moves in the breeze. It is an attempt to re-enchant the banal, to rediscover what beats behind the silence of everyday life.
This exhibition is a look at the infra-ordinary, this parallel world made of habits, subtle sensations, and micro-events. A world that we forget, precisely because it is always there.
This exhibition reminds us that it is often these tiny things that weave the real fabric of our lives. Rediscovering them opens up a different perception of the world: slower, more attentive, more human.
