A curation by Sakshi Awasthi, Curator at - The poetic and psychological dimensions of mapping. Beyond geography, these maps trace emotion, history, and memory — where the act of mapping becomes a metaphor for self-discovery. The exhibition includes paintings, assemblages, installations, and drawings that reinterpret traditional cartographic forms. Through abstract lines, layered textures, and symbolic coordinates, the works invite us to question what maps truly measure: —is it distance, or desire? —is it location, or longing? Curated as an unfolding landscape, The Shape of Maps turns the gallery into an atlas of imagination — charting worlds that shift as we move through them.
