A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - The vessel is a formal problem and a quiet narrative device. You move from painted bowls and bottles to ceramic raku, bronze, and cement surfaces, each one insisting on volume, rim line, and gravity. The curation remains disciplined, featuring strong negative space, a centered mass, and color fields that shift between cobalt, ochre, chalk white, and soft smoke. Oils build depth through glaze-like transitions, acrylic blocks sharpen edges, monotype and giclée add graphic tension, and fired clay locks in heat and chance. Together, the works read as an inventory of presence: objects designed to hold, framed as moments of pause.
