A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - This collection takes inspiration from UNESCO’s Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage, celebrated every year on October 17th. Echoing its mission to protect “living heritage” such as traditions, folklore, and social practices, this series showcases the diversity and richness of cultures around the world. Five photographers take us on a journey through the eyes of people in their own environments, unveiling deep emotions and revealing personal truths beyond their gaze. Featuring close-up portraits from across continents, it captures an international and multicultural perspective on humanity. These works create intimate moments between the viewer and the subject, where light brings vibrance and depth to each portrait. A passage across different communities and an exploration of beauty, reminding us that our differences are what unite us as humans.
