« Ik begon voor het eerst professioneel te schilderen vanaf negen maanden oud en mijn acrylschilderijen op canvas werden op tweejarige leeftijd opgenomen in mijn solotentoonstelling in Australië. Ik wil abstracte kunst in een totaal nieuwe richting brengen, vooral met mijn serie 'sound-painting'. »
Aelita Andre is een indrukwekkend jong talent uit Australië wiens abstracte schilderijen wereldwijd zijn tentoongesteld in solo- en groepstentoonstellingen. Andre was een vrije geest die geïnteresseerd was in kosmologie en theoretische natuurkunde en begon al met schilderen voordat ze kon praten of lopen, en creëerde caleidoscopische universums van kleur. Haar unieke geluidsschilderijen bevatten instrumenten als onderdeel van het canvas en creëren een nieuwe zintuiglijke ervaring.
