Albert Dura is een ervaren kunstenaar-beeldhouwer. Hij haalt zijn inspiratie vooral uit mythen en de natuurlijke en bovennatuurlijke wereld.
Hij heeft bewust voor metaal gekozen voor zijn sculpturen. Hoewel het een veelgebruikt materiaal is, is metaal absoluut uitzonderlijk. Metaal wordt al eeuwenlang gebruikt en is een duurzaam materiaal dat na verloop van tijd een patina krijgt en verfijnder wordt.

Albert Dura zegt: "Voor mij is 'metaal' een materiaal dat de weg opent naar andere dimensies - herinneringen, geschiedenis en zelfs transcendentie."
