Alexander Valchev is een schilder, fotograaf en beeldhouwer gevestigd in Bulgarije wiens werken nationaal zijn tentoongesteld, maar ook in Italië, Duitsland en België. Hij typeert zijn artistieke praktijk als de versmelting van visuele en conceptuele verkenning. Valchev's diverse composities verdiepen zich in het abstracte, terwijl ze ook metaforisch commentaar leveren op actuele gebeurtenissen in de wereld.
