Amit Kapoor is een bekroonde kunstenaar gevestigd in India wiens schilderijen nationaal zijn tentoongesteld, evenals in China, de Verenigde Staten, Zuid-Korea, Griekenland, Albanië, Indonesië, Turkije, Rusland, Italië, Canada, Hongarije, enz. de huidige artistieke expressie krijgt vorm in stadsruimten, zoals weergegeven in luchtfoto's. Kapoor legt graag licht vast in zijn composities. Zijn favoriete medium is aquarel, omdat het "spontaner en uitdagender" is.
