Baiba Redere is een opwindende Letse schilder met nationale bekendheid. Al lang geïnteresseerd in kunst als uitdrukking van datgene wat ongrijpbaar, rationeel onverklaarbaar en intuïtief is, componeert ze werken die via een gedurfde abstracte stijl verborgen, subtiele diepten proberen te onthullen.
