Barry Jackson is een ervaren kunstenaar uit Zuid-Afrika wiens bronzen sculpturen nationaal zijn tentoongesteld en in openbare collecties worden bewaard. Hij begon als kind met tekenen en nadat hij op 13-jarige leeftijd op Zambia TV een kunstwedstrijd had gewonnen, besloot Jackson zijn leven aan kunst te wijden. Portretten en dieren in het wild zijn de belangrijkste thema's in zijn sculpturen, en hij krijgt vaak de opdracht om openbare werken op ware grootte te maken van beroemde figuren zoals Mahatma Gandhi en Louis Van Mauritius.
