Cecilia André is een schilder en textielkunstenaar gevestigd in de Verenigde Staten, wiens werken nationaal zijn tentoongesteld, evenals in Brazilië en Zuid-Korea. Gefascineerd door de beeldtaal en de manier waarop het aan woorden voorafgaat, onderzoekt haar kunst dromen en de manieren waarop kunst verbinding maakt met het onbewuste. André's diverse abstract-expressionistische composities krijgen vorm door middel van acrylverf, vinyl, borduurwerk, collages en verschillende objecten op stof.
